Wow. 4 years ago, I would have never guessed that we'd have so many big-name acts come to the 417. Pretty much everyone I can think of that I'd like to see in Springfield, has been here within the last few years. Some really big names have been here in just the last couple weeks.
Florida Georgia Line: In the summer of 2012, these guys showed up to Midnight Rodeo, in a van, to play for a few hundred people at one of our 'KTTS Catch A Rising Star' shows. Boy, did we catch a rising star... They actually signed their record deal the week of that show and a little over a year later, they put on an unbelievable show at O'Reilly Family Events Center in front of a sold out crowd. Even if you don't like their music, you have to respect their live show. Great entertainers.
Keith Urban: This is one guy I had never seen before Sunday. I always heard that he was great live. Well, this was confirmed to me at JQH Arena. I've always liked Keith Urban, but would have never said he was in my top 5, but that was seriously one of the best live shows I've ever seen. It didn't hurt that Dustin Lynch and Little Big Town set the stage by rockin' it. What a great time. Oh, by the way... Keith was super nice and I guess he smelled good... That's what all the girls were saying.
Chase Rice: We've actually had Chase Rice at Midnight Rodeo before... Well, he's coming back on Friday and I can't wait. I remember Chase tweeting about how rowdy the crowd was last time he was here. He loved it. I don't expect this to be any different. He's got as much energy as anybody on stage and it makes for a great time. Join us for this show on Friday night? Details are here!
All of these shows happened/are happening within 2 weeks of each other. Springfield is getting pretty lucky these days... Oh, and don't forget about Justin Moore, Randy Houser and Josh Thompson on November 1st. Wow. That is all... Just wow. Blessed to be a part of all of this. Thank you!
Keith Urban wanted a photo with me... Can't disappoint the fans...
