Day 30- So, here we are, the last day of "No Shave November." It has been a fun ride and you might expect me to be supporting the baby face tomorrow, but this won't happen. You see, a couple weeks ago, our morning guy, Bobby Baldwin, pledged $200 to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital if I didn't shave until January 12th (the day we leave to visit St. Jude). Of course I accepted this challenge. So, the beard will be around until January, but this is the last day to donate to my "No Shave November" campaign.
I'm still asking you to help me support St. Jude Children's Research Hospital during "No Shave November" by donating as little as 10 bucks. It all adds up and anything you can donate would be awesome and greatly appreciated.
Fact(s) of the Day: The daily operating cost for St. Jude is $1.7 million, which is primarily covered by public contributions. St. Jude has developed protocols that have helped push overall survival rates for childhood cancers from less than 20 percent when the hospital opened in 1962 to 80 percent today.
Those few facts should blow your mind! A big thanks to everyone who has donated to this great cause. The kids of St. Jude and I really appreciate it!
