As you probably know I am an avid motorcycle rider, and living in the Ozarks this time of year can be scary. Every morning without fail on my way to work I see deer on the side of the road either freshly hit or standing about to cross. This video is an attention getting reminder of how quickly a nice ride can turn potentially deadly.

Ever since my family moved to Kansas when I was a kid, before I even started my work in country music on the radio I was exposed to KTTS. Every time we traveled to Branson I remember seeing the KTTS logo and idolizing the "KTTS Ranch Hands". I know that I am very blessed to be able to call this station home. Not only because of what we are doing today, but for what we have done in the past. I got an awesome reminder this morning of the staple KTTS has been in your life.

It's true I have done some pretty stupid things with my body over the years and I have the scars to prove it, but I don't think I have ever done something this painful. If the ice broke he could have drown. Instead he needs a tail bone replacement.

From watching her take her first breath to hearing the words "daddy" for the first time are happening to fast. I've always heard that when you have a child, time not only goes fast but it increases in speed along the way. That makes me sad. I know that i still have at least 25 years until her first date, but still, I am wanting to be selfish and stop time so that I can enjoy her longer at each new step of her growth as daddy's princess.

Yesterday my wife got involved in an accident that almost became a hit and run. The driver of the truck that hit my wife decided that after being followed by a witness she had better go back. My wife wasn't hurt and Kaitlyn wasn't in the car(thank goodness), but it was scary. Here are some pictures:

This weekend could potentially be a very scary one for you and your family. On Friday and Saturday night I'll be at the Branson's Haunted Adventure-Scream Park in between Branson West and Kimberling City. Ever since I was a little kid haunted houses have been a huge draw for me. I love being scarred and this is an opportunity for you and I to get scared together...ALL NIGHT! There are 4 different themed haunted houses including a haunted trail. This is going to be awesome. Join me won't you?

It's nice to think that I am capable of taking care of a 1,000 pound animal, but to be completely honest with you I have never owned a horse out-right. I have spent a lot of time around them, but until a month ago I have never actually owned one. Now that I do I can certainly feel the pressure. Meet Hillbilly Deluxe...he is big, he is sweet, and he is hungry...ALWAYS HUNGRY. He spends the day grazing and looking awesome in our pasture while I stress about how much he eats and how expensive it is to feed him. I've discovered that he likes carrots and apples which are cheap enough, but he also likes and needs hay. I'm sure you have heard, but "good" hay is hard to find and very expensive because of the drought that has stricken the Ozarks. I'm stressed lol. If you are ever in my neck of the woods come by and see Hillbilly. Just make sure you come packin some hay :)
