It was an honor a couple of weeks ago when a soldier serving in Afghanistan asked for an autographed picture of Summer and I. To be really frank with you, we should be the ones asking for his autograph. Andrew of Bolivar has been putting his life on the line in Afghanistan, and deserves so much more than a silly autograph. It is because of what you do everyday Andrew that keeps us safe and gives us the freedom that we have. We at KTTS are all praying for your safe return and we can't wait to meet you face to face . As you probably know I am an avid motorcycle rider, and living in the Ozarks this time of year can be scary. Every morning without fail on my way to work I see deer on the side of the road either freshly hit or standing about to cross. This video is an attention getting reminder of how quickly a nice ride can turn potentially deadly.

Ever since my family moved to Kansas when I was a kid, before I even started my work in country music on the radio I was exposed to KTTS. Every time we traveled to Branson I remember seeing the KTTS logo and idolizing the "KTTS Ranch Hands". I know that I am very blessed to be able to call this station home. Not only because of what we are doing today, but for what we have done in the past. I got an awesome reminder this morning of the staple KTTS has been in your life.

It's true I have done some pretty stupid things with my body over the years and I have the scars to prove it, but I don't think I have ever done something this painful. If the ice broke he could have drown. Instead he needs a tail bone replacement.

From watching her take her first breath to hearing the words "daddy" for the first time are happening to fast. I've always heard that when you have a child, time not only goes fast but it increases in speed along the way. That makes me sad. I know that i still have at least 25 years until her first date, but still, I am wanting to be selfish and stop time so that I can enjoy her longer at each new step of her growth as daddy's princess.

Yesterday my wife got involved in an accident that almost became a hit and run. The driver of the truck that hit my wife decided that after being followed by a witness she had better go back. My wife wasn't hurt and Kaitlyn wasn't in the car(thank goodness), but it was scary. Here are some pictures:

This weekend could potentially be a very scary one for you and your family. On Friday and Saturday night I'll be at the Branson's Haunted Adventure-Scream Park in between Branson West and Kimberling City. Ever since I was a little kid haunted houses have been a huge draw for me. I love being scarred and this is an opportunity for you and I to get scared together...ALL NIGHT!
