Yes it's true I am very blessed to have met some of the biggest country stars around. It's an honor to meet them and I will never take it for granted, BUT there are still some that I would kill to meet.
I'll be the first to admit that I am not 100% savvy on what women want, but I do have SOME common sense. Here is what I think a woman would NOT like for Valentines day. If I am wrong or you can think of more please correct me and comment below.
Yesterday Ellen sent Tim McGraw to his dressing room with a bunch of hidden cameras, an ear-piece, and a guitar tuner who had no idea what was about to hit him! See what Ellen made Tim say to this unsuspecting good sport right here.
Imagine for a moment that your sweet little son or daughter was diagnosed with cancer. Just thinking about that probably causes pain and sadness. As you know cancer is a horrible disease for anyone to get, but a child? Tears flood my heart, and eyes imagining Kaitlyn or any of my nieces or nephews ever getting cancer. That is just plain devastating to imagine any child having to feel that fear. Is there anything you and I can do to end this cancer? You bet there is. There is a hospital and children's research hospital that is making strides against this deadly disease, St. Jude Children's Reasearch Hospital.
When I moved to Springfield a little over a year ago I think I had 3 speeding tickets on my record. Pretty sad isn't it? Month by month the three tickets started dropping off my license. Until recently I had a clean driving record for the first time since I was 17. I have been blessed with a lead foot and the love of horsepower so speeding unfortunately has also been a weakness of mine. I was driving to Bentonville, Ar and I was on HWY 37 south out of Monett. I was doing about 70 mph. 70 doesn't sound too bad, and the speed limit was 60. 70 mph. 10 mph over? Out of all the speeding tickets I have ever received this was my lowest speed to ever be ticketed. I'm not angry nor am I bitter. Someday I will have normal driving habits and not feel the need to speed.
I am a man, and being a man means that sometimes I don't think things through before jumping right in and trying to take care of something. This picture is a perfect example. Over the weekend I did a little gluing on the kitchen table. Never in my wildest dreams did I think that glue would seep through LEATHER and then proceede to eat the table. I was wrong. Here is a perfect example of me not using my brain. Notice that I tried to scratch the semi wet semi hard glue off the table and made it worse.
Doesn't it seem like forever until we can wake up in the morning and not wonder "how cold is it going to be today"? Call me optimistic but I think we only have about a month and a half to two months left of winter. I am ready for the longer days and warmer temperatures that springtime often brings. Here is a short list of the things I am looking forward to this Spring.
Here are some new pictures of Little Kaitlyn. She is feeling much better! Thank goodness! It is impossible to believe that she will be 17 months old this week. This getting bigger business is happening way too fast :\
Doesn't it seem like forever since Blake has been out on tour? Here is his upcoming schedule as he hits the road with Easton Corbin and Jana Kramer. Only 1 problem...I don't see Springfield on the list :(
