If you were to ask me three years ago if I was going to have kids my answer would be no. I didn't think I was blessed with the awesome desire to have children. I figured I would enjoy life without carrying on the Baldwin name or genetic line. I was wrong. Kaitlyn, my little living angel, was born about 16 months ago. She has brought so much joy, and meaning to my life. She has also put new life into holidays like Halloween, Easter, and now Christmas.
Last year Kaitlyn was so tiny during the Christmas season, she couldn't even crawl. This year her personality has blossomed, and she is walking around like crazy often trying to de-decorate. Hearing and seeing her childlike excitement about Christmas and all of the decorations and smells has truly motivated me to instill wonderful Christmas memories into her.
I have been truly blessed with such a perfectly wonderful gift.
